PHOENIX—The Arizona Chamber Foundation, in partnership with Common Sense Institute Arizona (CSI), today announced the launch of Business in Your District—a new tool designed to help policymakers, business leaders, and community stakeholders better understand the economic and demographic profile of each of Arizona’s legislative districts and the local impact of public policy decisions.
The tool features up-to-date, localized data on key indicators such as workforce participation, housing, education, infrastructure, and top employers—organized by legislative district.
“As Arizona continues to grow, the policies we pursue at the state and local level must be grounded in data,” said Danny Seiden, Arizona Chamber president and CEO. “Business in Your District gives lawmakers and business leaders a shared starting point for smart, targeted decision-making that drives economic growth across all corners of the state.”
Each district snapshot includes insights on median income, housing inventory, school enrollment, employment trends, and more. For example, the snapshot for Legislative District 2—which covers parts of northeast Phoenix and the Desert Ridge area—shows:

- Total Workers: 129,353
- Median Home Value: $325,500
- Total Housing Units: 105,011
- Rental Vacancy Rate: 3.70%
- Owner Occupied Vacancy Rate: 0.80%
- Median Gross Rent: $1,374
- Unemployment Rate: 4.40%
- School Aged Population: 37,456 (15.53%)
- K-12 Public School Enrollment: 32,120 (85.75%)

The Arizona Chamber Foundation & CSI Arizona will be sharing Business in Your District data directly with elected officials, local chambers, business and economic development leaders, and other stakeholders statewide.
